The limited information from Black & White 2
Hey. We're working through some issues with the site but in the meantime here is the latest news. The Japanese magazine CoroCoro has leaked again with more info about the upcoming Pokemon Black 2 and White 2, and there is more information on the official Japanese site.
As already known, BW2 is a sequel to Black & White. It is set two years later and the region of Unova appears to have partly frozen over.
The new Unova map
You start in a completely new town that appears larger than Nuvema Town - its Japanese name translates at Blackberry Lily City
. And there are several new and changed locations throughout Unova, as seen in the screenshots below.
Your home town
Two new locations
The local Pokedex includes 300 Pokemon: the 156 Unova Pokemon, plus selected others from the previous 493 Pokemon. Among those confirmed are Eevee (and presumably its evolutions), Metagross, Weavile, Tyranitar, Lucario, Ampharos, Lapras and Arcanine.
Finally, there are some new characters and gym leaders, including Poison and Water type gyms. The Water gym has a lily pad puzzle.
